Programme
Discover Beaugency’s medieval heritage through a guided tour of the Castrum, an iconic site nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley. Accompanied by a guide and an audio guide, immerse yourself in the architectural and human history of this castle town.
The walk takes you through three key sites:
Place Dunois: once the nerve centre of the castle
The César Tower: a rare medieval keep that is still accessible – step inside to explore its interior
The Abbey Church of Notre-Dame: the remains of an abbey complex, of which several buildings still stand
A lively, well-researched experience accessible to all, ideal for lovers of history and heritage.
